This is a tuna recipe from my mom. Moms always make good food!
INGREDIENTS:
4 tuna steaks
Olive oil
Sauce:
1/3 cup very lightly packed fresh parsley leaves
3 tablespoons capers (2 if you like it less salty)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
4 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Toss all the Sauce ingredients into a food processor. Drizzle in a little olive oil and chop it on up! You only want just enough olive oil to help give the sauce a little extra body. I try to do no more than a tablespoon, otherwise I find its just way too oily.
2. Rub the tuna steaks with a little olive oil, season with some salt and pepper, and cook them over high heat. I personally enjoy my tuna medium rare, but cook it however you like.
3. When done, take some of the sauce and give a light coating on top of the tuna.
